SHELL-THY LIVING
Come on in. Here I offer support for those navigating the uncertainty of loving someone with addictions and mental health challenges, a space to relate, for reflection, self-care, and learning how to respond without losing yourself.
If you find yourself here, I can empathize how complicated your situation may be. You want to help them and say the right thing, only to feel overwhelmed and question every decision.
I don’t have all the answers. I am living through and learning from moments that didn’t go as expected. Some went a little better, and then there’s been everything in between.
Here you will find reflections and insights into small shifts that have made a difference, missteps that continue to teach me, and resources for which I am thankful to have come across.
Self-care is a focus that helps me remain grounded and manage mounting anxiety in the midst of crisis. This is one element that is foundational to all that I address.
